Peter Paul Electronics Company, Inc., has initiated an evaluation and compliance program with European Directive 2002/95/EC, Restriction of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS). This RoHS Directive bans new electrical and electronic equipment with more than permitted levels of lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated bihpenyl and polybrominated diphenyl from sale on the European Union market.
In its ongoing commitment to business practices that protect and preserve the environment, health and safety of its employees, customers and worldwide communities, Peter Paul is actively pursuing compliance. Investigation of PeterPaul materials and products has proven that the great majority are already compliant with the Directive. Any and all necessary changes will be made by July 1 or sooner.
