Lisa Mangiafico, Market Research Analyst and grandaughter of the founders of Peter Paul Electronics, recently completed The Connecticut Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve's (CT-ESGR) Bosslift Program. Peter Paul is a Connecticut manufacturer of solenoid valves that participates in the CT-ESGR support program for Guard and Reserve employees. The BossLift Program for employers exposes participating company personnel to military life and systems. In addition, employers are given free training, consultation and information on military leave policy formulation.

Lisa took a seat in the cockpit of a KC-135 Military Tanker for take off from the Air Force Base at Bradley International Airport. During flight, the tanker refueled a C-5 in mid-air. She then spent 3 days and 2 nights at the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, FL, where participants were exposed to a range of military activities and employer programs. At the end of the Program, Ms. Mangiafico received a Bosslift Veteran Certificate and signed a Statement of Support for the Guard and Reserve on behalf of Peter Paul Electronics. She returned to Bradley's Air Force Base on the same KC-135 Military Tanker.
